The website also offers advice concerning how to write an effective resume and cover letter that will effectively highlight your MBA. The website also helps job seekers find what jobs cater towards their interests and explains how to effectively interview for jobs as well as negotiate salaries.

Monster

Websites such as monster or careerbuilder are excellent sources of information concerning job opportunities for individuals with an MBA. Monster connects employers and job seekers over the internet by providing companies the opportunity to list their company information such as location, position vacancies, salary expectations, and other key job descriptions. Monster’s database contains listings for over 800,000 total jobs that can be searched by prospective employees who can send in their résumés and cover letters online.

Careerbuilder

Careerbuilder operates in much the same way as monster buy using an online database to allow employers and job seekers to gain information about what jobs are available as well as allowing for online resume and cover letter submissions. Careerbuilder was founded in 1995 and employs over 900 people. On December 1, 2003 Careerbuilder joined forces with America Online to launch an online Find a Job channel that can be found on AOL, CompuServ, and Netscape. In 2004, Careerbuilder teamed with the Microsoft Network to give visitors of the Microsoft Network’s Careers Channel the opportunity to search and post jobs using Careerbuilder.
